Did you know Tina Turner wrote "Nutbush City Limits" entirely by herself? It was one of the last hits she produced with Ike, but the lyrics are 100% her story. It's an autobiographical snapshot of her childhood in Nutbush, Tennessee—a town so small it didn't even have a city limit sign.
