1971. Tina Turner was fleeing with almost nothing when a Greyhound ticket agent named Loretta Briggs bought her a bus ticket and handed her $40. "Some buses you take before you understand why." Tina never forgot. More than 50 years later, she found Loretta in a nursing home, struggling and alone. Tina took her hand and said, "The girl in the brown coat made it." Loretta smiled and whispered, "Knew you weren't going back." Sometimes, one small act of kindness can change an entire lifetime.
